20-Pin Arcade Button Harness
This 20-Pin harness will connect your Retro Board PCB to your arcade buttons. It is also fully compatible with Brook PCBs.
This harness is SPECFICALLY for all-button controllers. Other harnesses will have directional inputs plug into an arcade lever, which then must be converted back into arcade buttons. This harness has the directional buttons go straight into your pushbuttons without the need of a converter.
Installation on Eddie's Retro Board PCB
Refer to the SNES/NES diagram in the pictures (the other is for Brook products):
- The VCC holes should be on the side marked with X's on the PCB
- Each pushbutton should have one wire connected to the appropriate button AND one ground connection
- It does not matter which button prong you pick for the connection and ground
